Today's Foxsports.com features an Alex Marvez interview of Danny Kanell. I vaguely remember Marvez from when he was a Denver beat writer, and only slightly-less-vaguely remember Danny Kanell from when he was a Denver quarterback. Anyway, Danny Kanell still has his playbook and talks a little bit about it. He basically says what every NFL fan already knows: Mike Shanahan has a good system/ zone blocking/ blah blah blah. It's exactly what you would expect from a Danny Kanell interview= functional but forgettable.
Ex athletes should only give interviews of the shocking expose variety. Is anyone really interested in hearing Danny Kanell profess his love for the slant route coming from a three receiver set? If it doesn't involve you and Micah Knorr doubling up on Michelle Tafoya after catching her expressing a desire for 2 forgettable white guys after a tough Sunday night game against the Raiders, just keep it to yourself. (also acceptable would be Patrick Hape in place of Micah Knorr)
