Apparently it's to acquire as many mediocre defensive tackles as possible, because Denver just picked up another one. This one's called Jimmy Kennedy, which is Spanish for Gerard Warren, which is Polish for Alvin McKinley, which is Canadian for Sam Adams, which is (just keep inserting nationalities) for Steven Harris, Demetrin Veal, Amon Gordon, and Antwon Burton. Also acquired via the draft was Marcus Thomas. By the by, that's the picture that Google Image Search came up with for Jimmy Kennedy, and I'm sticking with it, because I'm pretty sure our Jimmy Kennedy never won a shiny medal like that fat kid.
Seriously- what the fuck? He cost a 6th round pick. Is Jimmy Kennedy really going to make a difference at all? Right now Denver is trying to convince you that at the very least, Warren (big contract), McKinley, Adams, Kennedy, and Thomas (all high profile pickups) are going to get snaps. I guess Adams is too fat to get more than 10 a game, but that still leaves 4 guys for 2 spots. Maybe Warren gets cut before the season. Who knows. The Broncos just seem intent on winning via wave after underwhelming wave of fat black guys in different costumes. It's like dinner at the Klump's house!
