Out of sheer boredom, I thought I'd look up some information on NFL Europe. What I discovered is that they changed the name to NFL Europa. I haven't the foggiest as to why they would do that, since no one cared about NFL Europe, and no one will care about NFL Europa. And the league was pretty lazy about it, since they still use nfleurope.com as the official website.
I think it was to fool everyone, because surely at least one person in the league offices has gone through 5th grade science class and thus knows that Europa is a moon of Jupiter. Now, I've long been an advocate of the implementation of Pro Space Football, but the product has got to be disappointing. No jetpacks, no ninja stars, and no awesome uniforms:

Those are all things I require of my Pro Space Football. Instead, I get Denzell Washington's kid and weight measured in "stone," whatever the hell that is. That's just poor implementation.

At any rate, I'll be touching on some more NFL Europa news and views later, when I actually find NFL Europa news and establish NFL Europa views. Right now my favorite player is the kicker for Berlin, because his name is Ding Long and he's 19.

Denver Broncos player allocations include Greg Eslinger, Teyo Johnson, Lamont Reid, Kevin McAlmont, and Doug Nienhuis. I'm pretty sure those last three guys were completely made up, because I've never even heard of them.
